The Daal Baati Platter includes:
- 2 x baati
- 1 x medium daal tadka
- 1 x medium rice choice
- 1 x garlic chutney
- 1 x churma
Baati: a hard, unleavened bread cooked in most of areas of Rajasthan, and in some parts of Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. It consists of wheat flour, salt, ghee, and very little water.
Daal Tadka: toor dal – pigeon peas – tempered with spices and ghee.
Churma is a Rajasthani sweet typically served along with Dal-Bati, is prepared by grinding deep fried Bati into a fine powder and then thoroughly mixing it with melted ghee, sugar and dry-fruits.
