Description
Puranpoli is a flatbread stuffed with a sweet lentil filling made from skinned spilt bengal gram (chana dal) and jaggery. It is a sweet flatbread savored on almost all the occasions in India. It is popular in Gujarat as well as Maharashtra. In marathi language the sweet filling is called “Puran” and the bread is called as “Poli”.
