Veg Pulao is a simple, healthy, mild, delicious basmati rice and vegetable dish, cooked with beans, carrots, potatoes, peas and cashews, combined with aromatic herbs and spices. A very typical Indian home cooked meal that is particularly great for lunchboxes. Satisfying comfort food.

Served with Kadhi (soup made from yoghurt and chickpea flour with a sweet and sour taste) or Raita (yoghurt mixed with shredded cucumber and carrots). Plus papad (papadum) and pickles.
